The Marin County Open Space District will partner with the Rotary Club of Ignacio to restore a busy trail above the Indian Valley College campus. We will repair trail tread, improve the trail corridor, clear water bars, and more.
This project is on moderate to moderately steep slopes, and the work will be strenuous. Wear sturdy shoes and layered clothes, bring water and snacks. Gloves, tools, and training will be provided.

Directions from Ignacio Boulevard in Novato: Follow Ignacio Boulevard west through campus and park in the very last lot on the right (by the police station). Take the foot path to the right of the police station, past the farm and garden and head up the hill to the pond. Marin County Parks and Open Space rangers and signage will direct volunteers to the project site.
