Campfire Tales: Stafford Lake

As part
of our ongoing celebration of our 40th anniversary, we’re joining forces with
the Marin County Library for a fun, educational, and delicious evening. The
festivities will start with a nature walk led by Naturalist David Herlocker.
After that we’ll return to the picnic area where the grills will be
fired up and we will serve hot dogs. Just as the sun begins to set, Children’s
Librarian Jennifer Robinson of the Novato Library will share some of her
favorite stories about nature and the Native Americans that inhabited the hills
and valleys around us. We request that no animals (except service animals)
attend. Questions: Contact David at (415) 893-9508 or dherlocker@marincounty.org. Enter the park from Novato Blvd. There is a pay station, but you will
get a one-day parking pass when you join the group. Turn right, and follow the
road all the way to the last parking area. Stafford Lake Park is located at
3549 Novato Blvd in Novato.
