Citywide Street Repairs Start Next Week

The city will repave dozens of Novato streets starting next week, part of its Capital Improvement Program.

The selected streets will be resurfaced with an asphalt emulsion and aggregate, which is basically a cheaper way to rehab streets without replacing them entirely.

The work will take place over the next week between 7am and 4pm. Residents are asked to not park their cars on streets where work is scheduled and to not water their lawns on the same day the work will be performed.
