17th Annual Nostalgia Days Celebrates Classic Cars, Community
If you're a fan of classic cars, you won't want to miss this fun event going on Aug. 16 and 17 in downtown Novato
Mark your calendars this August 16 and 17 for the annual Nostalgia Days Rod and Kustom Car Show in downtown Novato.
The event kicks off with a hot rod cruise Friday 6 pm at the Days Inn. Categories include Best Rat Rod, Best Kustom, Best Restored and Best Homebuilt, among others. The first 150 entries into the car show receive a decorative plaque and T-shirt.
On Saturday, get a close-up look at the classic beauties that will line Grant Avenue from 1st to 7th Street starting 10am. New this year is the American Graffiti Tribute group that will bring clones of five classic cars featured in the George Lucas movie.

Saturday entertainment includes Hot Rod Jukebox, playing 50s and ‘60s rock, various DJs and headliner Dave Crimmen, who will be playing rock and roll tunes. Saturday’s car parade starts at 4pm and goes until 5pm.
