NOVATO SOROPTIMIST SEEK APPLICANTS FOR TWO AWARDS

Novato Soroptimist is seeking applicants for its Women’s Opportunity Award and Violet Richardson Award.

The Women’s Opportunity Award is open to women who serve as primary wage earners for their families, who are enrolled or attending college or vocational school and demonstrates financial need.  The cash grant this year is $2,000.  Deadline to apply is December 15, 2013.

The Violet Richardson Award is open to any girl between the ages of 14 – 17 who lives or attends school in Novato and who volunteers in her community.  The cash award is up to $1,000 and the deadline to apply is December 1, 2013.
