Volunteer Group Raises $53,000 for Special Education in Marin

Dedication to Special Education, the all volunteer parent group raising funds for special education programs throughout Marin, announced that Dan Kimball was the winner of the new Toyota Prius. The drawing was held Sunday February 9th at Toyota Marin with San Rafael Firefighter Alvarez pulling the winning ticket. A family party, attended by over 100 people, showcased the raffle drawing. Over $53,000 was raised for Dedication to Special Education programs including the Grants to Special Educators and the Technology Resource Center of Marin. The programs impact all 19 school districts in Marin, directly helping all children with special needs in our County reach their educational potential.  The vehicle was fully donated by Toyota Marin, a Price Family Dealership. This is the 9th PRIUS Toyota Marin has donated over the past 9 years, resulting in over $450,000 raised for the programs of Dedication to Special Education.
