STEP UP AND HELP YOUR COMMUNITY IN THE EVENT OF A DISASTER! Take the CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training in August!

CERT training is coming to Novato in August! Summer is a great time for you &/or your whole family to take this class to become Disaster Service Workers and emergency volunteers. If a large scale emergency occurs in Marin County, we know that our public safety officials will quickly become overwhelmed. Residents who are trained in the basics of first aid, how to search a damaged house for a trapped victim and putting out small fires can make a enormous difference in saving lives and salvaging property. This is your opportunity to give back to your community and learn life-saving skills.
The class is 16 hours and costs only $45.00. Sign up through www.marincountycert.org and call 415-485-3409 for additional information.

Don't put it off! Now is the time to step up and help!
