San Marin Students Wins Local Lion's Club Contest

Congratulations to Olivia Murillo, a junior at San Marin High School who won at the club level of the Lions Club Student Speaker speech contest on Thursday night.  She will now move on to the next level on March 5th.  Olivia won $75 and has the opportunity to win bigger prize and scholarship money the higher she goes in the competition.  Olivia is a member of the San Marin Speech and Debate team and wrote her speech about community service, this year's theme.  This contest is graciously sponsored every year by our Novato Lions Club and offers this contest as part of the California Student Speaker Lions Club competition.
