Marin Museum of Bicycling Announces Mt. Tam Donor Wall

In a press release issued today, the Marin Museum of Bicycling announced the construction of their Mt. Tamalpais Legacy Wall.  The wall will be fitted with brick tiles funded by museum donors.  The four-foot-high wall is situated at the corner of Sir Francis Drake Blvd and Claus Drive in downtown Fairfax.  The wall is shaped in the profile of Mt. Tamalpais, the "Sleeping Maiden."

Supporters can purchase tiles which will be engraved with their own messages.  Tiles will be sold in three sizes from $250 to $1000.  They can be ordered online athttp://mmbhof.org or by picking up a form outside the museum entrance at 1966 Sir Francis Drake Blvd.

The Marin Museum of Bicycling is a history museum and cultural center now under construction and slated to open mid-year.  On display will be bicycles representing the extraordinary history of the world's most efficient vehicle from the 1860s to the present.  The museum will also feature the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame which was founded in 1988 and recently moved from Crested Butte, Colorado to Fairfax.
