DEADLINE APPROACHING FOR NOVATO SOROPTIMIST AWARDS

The deadline for two awards offered by the Novato Soroptimist is approaching.

The Violet Richardson Award is open girls between the ages of 14 – 17 who live or attend school in Novato and who volunteer in their community.  The cash award is up to $1,000 and the deadline to apply is December 1, 2013.

The Women’s Opportunity Award is open to women who serve as primary wage earners for their families, who are enrolled or attending college or vocational school and demonstrates financial need.  The cash grant this year is $2,000.  Deadline to apply is December 15, 2013.
