City Offices at 922 Machin to be open on Nov. 12

City offices-which include all departments listed below-will be moving from 75 Rowland to the newly-constructed facility at 922 Machin Avenue on Friday, Nov. 8 through Monday, Nov. 11. The City will be closed beginning at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7.

Departments affected include:

· City Manager's office

· City Clerk

· Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology

· Community Development, Planning, Building & Code Enforcement, "One-Stop Shop" (permits)-note that inspections will not occur during this time

· Public Works/Engineering/Encroachment Permits

Additionally, City phones will not be operational from Thursday, Nov. 7 @ 3 pm until Friday morning. All phone lines will be down, including the Building Department automated inspection request line. '9-1-1' will continue to be operational and will NOT be affected.

The City's network will also be non-operational from Thursday, Nov. 7 @ 3 pm until Monday, Nov. 11. This means that e-mail may be sporadic and the park and facility reservation system and program registration will not be accessible.

Note that the Police Department will be open throughout this time. All offices will reopen on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 9 a.m. Come visit us soon!
