The Hamilton Field History Museum is offering the tiles and bricks for the Patriot Wall and Patio, a memorial on which the memory of a person who served our country in time of war will be preserved.
Hamilton volunteer John Trumbull would like to see a tile for longtime Novatoan Joe Gargulio, who was in the Naval Transportation Corps in World War II, included on a wall of commemorative tiles and bricks. Gargiulo, who died this year, was a former Novato mayor and College of Marin trustee who helped develop COM's Indian Valley Campus.
For a donation of $250 (or more) you can get a laser-engraved tile. For a $100 donation, a laser-engraved brick will be laid on the patio.
The Novato Historical Guild will accept donations on behalf of the Hamilton Museum of any amount in trust to contribute toward this tile. If support proves insufficient by Nov. 1, contributions will be returned.
Make your tax-deductible check payable to the Novato Historical Guild (note "for Joe" if designated for Joe Gargiulo) and send it to:
2035 Eldorado Court
Novato, CA. 94947
[or you may leave it with Ray Dwelly at the Hamilton museum].
