Register soon for the 's Summer Stars Workshop because time is running short.
The two-week workshop for kids in grades 3 through 8 starts June 18 and runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This program gives students the opportunity to participate in a musical theater production, shape the story, create their own roles, and even choose music. This gives the students a sense of ownership and accomplishment — all while having great fun acting, singing and dancing!
Each class will include improvisational theater games, singing, dancing, acting, a lunch break and rehearsal. The children then will present a live performance on Friday, June 29 at 7 p.m.

Tuition is $350. A 15 percent discount offered to family of NTC theater season subscribers. Students will receive two tickets to the NTC's annual holiday production of A Christmas Carol, the Musical. They also can try out for a role in the 2012 production of the play, as well as next spring's production of Gypsy.
