A HUGE THANK YOU GOES OUT TO THE NOVATO COMMUNITY FROM THE BLUE STAR MOMS OF MARIN! On behalf of the mothers of our military men and women, the Blue Star Moms of Marin would like to thank all the Novato and Marin Residents that came out to support the troops on Sat. April 9th. The moms were at the Downtown Novato Safeway, 900 Diablo Ave., collecting items for care packages going overseas. We had a fabulous turnout and the generousity of the community was outstanding and our men and women serving around the world will be thrilled to receive this show of support from home. We received funds and donated items to cover packing and mailing 150 packages.
