It's the women's turn to take to the softball fields to raise money for School Fuel, the nonprofit that supports public schools in Novato. And it's time to prove which school is No. 1! Well, No. 1 on the softball field.
You can catch the games at Lynwood School at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17. There will be two games, as the winners of the elementary school matchups take on Sinaloa (Field 1) and a combined San Jose/Novato High team (Field 2).
Don't miss out on the best of the fall classic on Friday, Oct. 19, when the action shifts to Gary Gates Field at San Marin High. Playing under the lights beginning at 6:30 p.m. will be the two best teams.
There's typical game fare to nosh on, and it's all in the name of fun and raising money for the schools. Don't miss out.
