The Marin Humane Society is hosting a three-week Hard Hat Adopt-A-Thon to celebrate the upcoming groundbreaking of its dog adoption housing renovation. Adoption fees for cats and dogs have been reduced by 50 percent through April 17. The shelter is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am to 5pm, and Wednesdays from 10am to 6:30pm.

About the Dog Adoption Housing Renovation
Construction on the Marin Humane Society’s adoption dog housing begins on April 4 and is scheduled to be completed before the end of 2011. Existing kennel space will be reconfigured with modern housing, wider walkways, and significantly improved soundproofing, providing adoption dogs with more comfortable housing and presenting a more welcoming environment for potential adopters.
