FSA has Marin County's only 24/7 Suicide Prevention Hotline and is currently the lead agency in expanding the hotline to the five North Bay Counties of Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Lake and Solano. The volunteers who staff our hotline are a critical component of our services and we are currently recruiting for the next training session.
The next Hotline class will be held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. beginning February 7, 2012 and ending March 13, 2012. There will be one Saturday class from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on March 3, 2012 (the Saturday class is mandatory). For students who become volunteers on our Hotline there will be four additional sessions on Tuesday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. from March 20 – April 10, 2012.
