Almost Maine, Fantastic Summer Play. Last Show 2pm, 07/21

Last chance to see this wonderful, light-hearted show.  Showtime is 2pm, Sunday, July 21st.

Almost Maine, Magic Under the Northern Star, by Marin Summer Theater, opens 8pm, Thursday, July 18th at the Performing Arts Theater, Novato High School.

A play by John Cariani, Almost, Maine has been warming hearts and charming audiences since it was first produced at the Portland Stage Company in 2004.  Since then, Almost, Maine has traveled to Broadway, all over the United States and around the world.

On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost's residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night's dream.

"Sweet, poignant, and witty. Nearly perfect." The New York Daily News

“A whimsical approach to the joys and perils of romance. Magical happenings bloom beneath the snowdrifts. ALMOST, MAINE explores the thunderclap of love and the scorched earth that sometimes follows.” The New York Times.

Showtimes:  8pm, Thursday, July 18th, Friday, July 19th, Saturday, July 20th and 2pm, Saturday, July 20th and Sunday, July 21st.
