UPDATE: Arrest Made in Stabbing
Novato Police apprehend suspect in two Monday night attacks.
Jamesha Renee Clark, a 24-year-old Novato resident, was arrested after Novato Police responded to a call on Diablo Avenue Monday evening and found two stabbing victims.
The police reported that Clark fought with an unnamed woman and a second victim, a 25-year-old unnamed man, intervened, also getting injured. The female victim sustained two wounds to her left arm and one to her right arm. Novato Fire responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where she was treated for her injuries. The male victim had already gone to the hospital for laceration wounds to his hand.
During the investigation, it was determined the incident occurred inside Clark’s apartment. Clark and the 27-year-old female victim reportedly argued prior to Clark stabbing her with the knife.
